Red River Craft Beer Festival Draws Crowd, Supports Local Charity

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) — Despite widespread postponements of events on Saturday, residents still turned out in strong numbers at the Comanche County Fairgrounds for the Red River Craft Beer Festival.

Running from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., the festival offered Lawtonians the opportunity to sample a variety of regional craft beers while supporting a good cause. Proceeds from the event benefited the Great Plains chapter of AMBUCS, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring mobility and independence.

As part of the festivities, several Amtrykes — adaptive tricycles designed for individuals with mobility challenges — were given away to members of the community, highlighting the festival’s commitment to giving back.
