Target Introduces Sustainable Wine Line ‘Collective Good’ in Recycled Paper Bottles

Target Corporation has announced the launch of its new sustainable wine brand, Collective Good, featuring an array of international varietals and packaged in eco-friendly recycled paper bottles.

The Collective Good lineup includes a California Cabernet Sauvignon, a Spanish red blend, a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc, and an Italian Pinot Grigio. The collection is set to debut in nearly 1,200 Target stores across the United States.

The wines are packaged using the “Frugal Bottle,” an innovative paperboard alternative composed of 94% recycled materials, according to Target’s product description. The retailer noted that the bottle has a carbon footprint six times lower than that of traditional glass bottles and requires 75% less water to manufacture.
