Mijas Pueblo is gearing up to host its eagerly awaited 5th Cheese and Wine Festival, set to take place from October 20 to 22. This year’s edition promises to be bigger and better, featuring an expanded roster of participating establishments and live musical performances.
The Cheese and Wine Fair has become a beloved tradition in Mijas, steadily gaining prominence over the years as a must-visit event for both merchants and visitors. In its 5th edition, a total of 16 establishments will proudly present their delectable products at the Plaza Virgen de la Peña in Mijas Pueblo, spanning from Friday, October 20 to Sunday, October 22.
Natalia Martinez, the Councillor overseeing the event, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “Once again, Mijas’ merchants will have the opportunity to introduce their fine wines to the public, offering tastings to all attendees. We also extend our gratitude to the esteemed cheese producers from the province of Malaga.”
Martinez extended a warm invitation to residents from the local area and beyond, encouraging them to partake in this culinary extravaganza. She expressed her optimism that, much like in previous years, this year’s event will be a resounding success, bringing together connoisseurs and enthusiasts to relish the delightful flavors of Mijas.
