The Good Wine Shop, a beloved name in the wine retail industry, has recently opened its fifth store, establishing its presence in the former Oddbins location in St Margarets, Twickenham.
The newly inaugurated store, operational seven days a week, boasts an extensive collection of approximately 750 wines, complemented by an assortment of beers and spirits. While the establishment is already open for business, plans for an upcoming refurbishment in the new year are underway. Additionally, the store will be a hub for a variety of tasting events and is set to feature a wine bar, enriching the wine shopping experience.
Mark Wrigglesworth, the proprietor of The Good Wine Shop and a St Margarets resident for nearly two decades, expressed his enthusiasm about the new venture. He stated, “The new site in St Margarets has been a dream in the making, and we’re thrilled to bring it to life after a 12-year absence from the area. We’ve already built strong, lasting relationships with customers in the area around our shops in Kew, Chiswick, Richmond Hill, and Teddington. Our goal is to provide a refreshingly different choice of wines that you won’t find on your local supermarket shelves or elsewhere in London, and we look forward to sharing them with our new St Margarets customers.”
