The Beer Institute, the nation’s oldest trade organization dedicated to representing the beer industry, proudly announces the appointment of Andrew Heritage as its new chief economist. Andrew Heritage, who previously held the position of senior economist at the Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA), brings a wealth of research experience in the fields of manufacturing and small business economies.
Expressing his enthusiasm about his new role, Andrew Heritage remarked, “I’m excited to bring together my love for beer and economics as I lead the Beer Institute’s research efforts and help tell the story of this wonderful beverage. Before joining the Beer Institute, Andrew Heritage held the position of senior economist at the Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA), lead economist at Thumbtack, and a senior policy analyst at the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). His research in economic policy has predominantly focused on manufacturing and the small business economy, and his work has been featured in prominent publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and CNBC.
