The brewery has introduced the first phase of its brand new, sprawling 85,000-square-foot beer garden, aptly named Karl Strauss Outpost San Marcos.
Nestled on two acres at 1293 Armorlite Drive, this beer destination marks Karl Strauss’ inaugural foray into the realm of neighborhood beer gardens. Karl Strauss President Matt Rattner expressed his pride in pioneering the independent craft brewing industry in San Diego and beyond, citing the Outpost as a reflection of the brewery’s spirit, its San Diego heritage, and its ongoing commitment to evolution and growth.
Visitors to the Karl Strauss Outpost San Marcos can savor the delightful Southern California climate in the new outdoor beer garden, accompanied by the brewery’s renowned cuisine. A fresh menu, curated by Karl Strauss chefs, will be available at The Bar, which marks the brewery’s inaugural venture into food service.
The neighborhood beer garden concept introduces elements such as Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, games, and fire pits, creating an inviting and relaxing atmosphere for patrons.
