The HC team also scooped the Health and Wellbeing Award of the Year for International Beverage’s proactive Sustaining Our People programme, which the judges said represented a leap forward in people planning within the spirits industry; underpinned by the belief that every person is unique and that connection, understanding and support are the keys to happy people at work.

The HR NETWORK judging panel, made up of industry experts, were impressed by the “high level of innovation and commitment” shown by the International Beverage HC team as a whole in supporting the company’s current growth plans and driving a dynamic change programme across all business teams.

After being shortlisted for four awards, Sam Kirk, who is based at the company’s headquarters in Airdrie, was thrilled with the evening’s results.

She told Lanarkshire Live: “So much of what we do in the HR world is behind the scenes, so it’s wonderful to have the hard work and dedication of our whole team recognised by our peers in the HR industry.

“Our business is going through an exciting period of growth and change, and we place the highest value on our people and ensuring we have the strategies in place to get the best out of them.

“This recognition from the wider business community is very rewarding and I would like to say a huge well done to our entire HC team for everything we have achieved together.”
