Their last day of operation will be 31 December. A farewell weekend is planned for 16 and 17 December from 12pm to 5pm, with live music, discounts of up to 35%, finger food, wine auctions and prizes.

As they write on Facebook: “Come raise a glass, make cherished memories and say goodbye to Baldwin Winery in a celebration that will leave you with a sense of nostalgia and a collection of wine to treasure forever.”

The Ulster County winery has long been renowned for its strawberry wine.
