Faced with recurrent losses, a collective of four men and 30 women hailing from Mlare village embarked on a novel venture: crafting wine from overripe bananas sourced from their own harvests or procured from fellow farmers.

Undeterred by their rudimentary setup, the collective has mastered the art of producing a delectable alcoholic beverage from the surplus bananas.
