A researcher from Washington State University’s Viticulture and Enology department is seeking volunteers to participate in a white wine sensory panel.
Selected panelists will undergo training to discern specific tastes and aromas in white wines and will be tasked with scoring the wines based on their observations.
The panel will span six weeks, commencing on April 8th. It will begin with three weekly group sessions, followed by three subsequent weeks of individual sessions. Group sessions are expected to last between 60 to 90 minutes, while individual sessions will require less than 30 minutes. Complimentary snacks will be provided after each session.
The scheduling of sessions will be flexible to accommodate volunteers’ availability. All sessions will be held at the Ste. Michelle Wine Estates WSU Wine Science Center in Richland.
