Moth, the esteemed brand renowned for its ready-to-drink (RTD) canned cocktails, continues to elevate its offerings with the introduction of two new tantalizing serves: the Cosmopolitan and the Paloma.
Available now in Waitrose and Sainsbury’s stores, these latest additions join Moth’s esteemed collection of pre-mixed cocktails, which already includes favorites such as the Margarita, Espresso Martini, French 75, and Negroni. Priced from £3.95 for 125-200ml, these new concoctions promise to tantalize the taste buds of cocktail enthusiasts.
Crafted with precision and care, Moth’s drinks come packaged in fully recyclable cans and are concocted in collaboration with award-winning independent spirits producers. The Cosmopolitan, boasting a 14% ABV, features vodka sourced from Oxfordshire’s esteemed Wood Brothers Distilling Co. On the other hand, the Paloma, with a 10% ABV, is enriched with tequila from the esteemed Tequila Enemigo.
The decision to expand into the realms of the Cosmopolitan and Paloma was driven by the resounding success of Moth’s existing Espresso Martini and Margarita offerings, according to Moth co-founder Rob Wallis. “We now have 10 cocktails in a can for consumers to enjoy so whether it’s a tarty sweet Cosmopolitan, a juicy Paloma, a sharp Margarita, or a smooth Espresso Martini we have a cocktail for every taste and occasion,” Wallis affirmed.
The escalating demand for premium ready-to-drink cocktails is evident, as noted by Waitrose spirits buyer Sarah Holland. “I’m sure Moth’s new Cosmopolitan and Paloma, two popular drinks, will add further to the success of the brand and be a big hit with Waitrose customers,” Holland commented, underlining the anticipation surrounding these latest offerings.
