London’s renowned Scarfes Bar, currently holding the distinguished position of No. 41 on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2023 list, has unveiled its latest cocktail menu, aptly titled ‘From Scratch’. Featuring a selection of 22 meticulously crafted cocktails, the menu showcases the bar team’s dedication to homemade cordials, ferments, and distillates.
In a nod to tradition and a desire to return to the essence of cocktail-making, Scarfes Bar aims to elevate classics and reimagine old favorites, reintroducing the artistry of cocktail shaking to its patrons.
Among the highlights of the menu is the reinterpretation of a classic cocktail dating back to 1919, the White Lady. Scarfes’ rendition, aptly named the Spring Lady, offers a contemporary twist, blending No.3 gin, St-Germain long pepper, acacia hydrosol, and jasmin muyu to create a refreshing and sophisticated libation.
Building on the momentum of Scarfes Bar’s recent tenth-anniversary celebrations, which saw the team embark on a global tour, Area Director of Bars Martin Siska and his team are poised to continue their journey, bringing inspiration from bars around the world back to the heart of London. This commitment to exploration and innovation ensures that Scarfes Bar remains at the forefront of the international cocktail scene, offering guests an unparalleled drinking experience infused with creativity and flair.
