Avra Bar at Four Seasons Astir Palace will welcome renowned bars Alquímico from Cartagena and Athens’ The Bar in Front of the Bar for a unique event on the Athens Riviera this Sunday, May 26.
As part of Avra’s Great Sunday Club, the event, titled “The Secret of Sustainable Sips,” will showcase innovative cocktails crafted from Avra’s garden produce. The collaboration is lauded as ‘a match made in sustainable mixology heaven.’
Guests will enjoy exclusive cocktails featuring Mataroa Mediterranean Dry Gin and the newly introduced Mataroa Happy, a unique 11% ABV spirit infused with cannabis and damiana.
“At Avra, connecting with like-minded individuals on the sustainability path is a core value,” said Manon Kapfer, Avra’s bar manager. “This takeover is about sharing stories of innovation, creation, and moving forward together. We aim to revolutionize the bar industry in a fun, creative, and eco-friendly manner.”
Kapfer will be joined by Jean Trinh, Miguel Mora, and Paola Oviedo from Alquímico, ranked ninth on the World’s 50 Best Bars list, along with the team from The Bar in Front of the Bar, featured on the World’s 50 Best Discovery list.
“The Secret of Sustainable Sips” will take place from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm on May 26 at Avra Bar in Athens, Greece.
To kick off the weekend, a picnic and panel discussion will be held in Avra’s gardens on Saturday, May 25 at 2:00 pm. This event, featuring bar creatives and sustainable drink brand partners, is open to both bar industry members and curious guests.
