Rose Festival Hosts Starry Night Wine Walk in Downtown Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – The Rose Festival brought a special event to Downtown Portland on Thursday with the Starry Night Wine Walk, offering adults a relaxed evening of wine tasting and support for local businesses.

Participants were provided with empty wine glasses for a self-guided tour through downtown, featuring nine different businesses offering Oregon wines for tasting.

Amy Maxwell, CEO of Ticket Tomato, the event’s managing company, highlighted the event’s social and economic benefits: “You start tasting the wines, check out the stores, and often bump into friends, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere.”

Proceeds from the Starry Night Wine Walk will benefit the Rose Festival Foundation.
