Located at St. James’s Gate in the heart of the city, the Guinness beer garden has emerged as a prime destination for beer enthusiasts. Attached to the brewery’s taproom, this beer garden offers limited-edition, small-batch beers brewed on-site, paired with a new casual dining menu.
The recently refurbished outdoor area, now open to the public, provides ample space for visitors to enjoy food and drinks with friends, especially during the summer season. Inside, the taproom features a fresh new fit-out, including a window that offers a view into the brewery.
The beer garden boasts a limited-edition seasonal beer menu, changing throughout the year with exclusive brews from the on-site brewery. Among the first offerings are the Crane St pale ale, a watermelon spritz, and an Irish whiskey-flavored stout. A range of Guinness beers, spirits, soft drinks, and non-alcoholic options are also available.
Visitors can enjoy a ‘tasting paddle,’ which offers a selection of beers to sample while seated in the garden. Enhancing the atmosphere, murals by long-time brewery collaborator Holly Pereira adorn the beer garden walls.
The Guinness Open Gate Brewery’s beer garden is open from Thursdays to Saturdays, from 1 PM to 9 PM.
