Country music icon Dolly Parton is expanding her brand into the wine industry with the launch of Dolly Wines. Partnering with Australia’s Accolade Wines, Parton will debut her first offering, Dolly Wines California Chardonnay 2023, this July.
“We are beyond excited to bring Dolly Wines to the world,” Accolade Wines Chief Marketing Officer Sandy Mayo announced at a CMA Fest press conference. “Dolly herself was involved in all aspects of each wine, and we think they capture her captivating sense of fun and sparkle perfectly. Like the lady herself, we think everyone, everywhere will love it.”
Retailing at $14.99, the Chardonnay will be available for pre-sale orders starting June 20. In addition to the Chardonnay, the Dolly Wines line will introduce a sparkling wine in Australia this September, followed by a rosé and prosecco in the U.K. in the fall.
This wine venture marks Parton’s third foray into the food and beverage sector this year. In January, she launched a line of cake mixes with Duncan Hines and later introduced a collection of Dolly-themed party supplies in collaboration with Walmart.
