Snoop Dogg’s ongoing venture into the world of co-branded beverages sees a new addition on liquor store shelves with the introduction of “Cali Cocktails,” created in collaboration with longtime partner 19 Crimes Wine.
Embracing Snoop’s West Coast heritage, the cocktails sport whimsical monikers like Smokin’ Strawberry Margarita and Long Beach Lemonade. Canned at 9% ABV, each cocktail is crafted with agave wine, an increasingly favored option for tequila-infused concoctions like Flybird and Chi-Chi’s Margaritas. The renowned rapper-turned-entrepreneur describes these cocktails as the perfect “toast to the coast.”
“Cali Cocktails” marks the latest collaboration between Snoop and the Australian winery, following previous releases such as Snoop Cali Red, Cali Rosé, and Cali Blanc. Some releases have leaned towards the playful side; in 2022, the duo unveiled a “rapping” sparkling wine that serenaded with “Who Am I (What’s My Name)?” when scanned with a mobile app. Notably, on the 19 Crimes website, enthusiasts can find a two-pack featuring Snoop Cali Red alongside Martha Stewart’s Chardonnay.
Beyond wine, Snoop’s presence in the alcohol industry continues to expand steadily. Earlier this year, the “Doggystyle” rapper partnered with Dr. Dre to introduce Gin & Juice canned cocktails in Apricot, Citrus, Melon, and Passionfruit flavors. Additional releases inspired by G-funk culture include Indoggo Gin and endorsements for Happy Dad Hard Seltzer and St. Ides Beer.
Notably, despite his deep involvement in the alcohol industry, Snoop Dogg once famously declared that he doesn’t consume any of his own alcohol brands. “Cali Cocktails” are now available nationwide at select retailers and can be purchased online.
