The English Cotswolds Distillery has unveiled its latest digital summer campaign, titled ‘Today will be Cloudy and Dry’, aimed at promoting Cotswolds Dry Gin. This initiative spotlights the gin’s distinctive cloudy and dry attributes, derived from its rich botanical essential oils.
Produced and directed by View Creative, the campaign cleverly taps into the English fascination with unpredictable weather patterns, showcasing the gin’s cloudy appearance as a unique feature.
Following the success of their previous ‘English for Whisky’ campaign in autumn 2023, the digital endeavor seeks to bolster Cotswolds Distillery’s reputation for crafting premium English spirits.
Conceived by founder Dan Szor and brought to fruition by marketing director Kate Harrison in collaboration with View Creative, the campaign aims to vividly depict Cotswolds Dry Gin’s English charm and bold flavors.
“We are thrilled to bring our Cotswolds Dry Gin to life through this engaging and distinctive campaign, ‘Today will be Cloudy and Dry’. It highlights two defining characteristics of our gin: its dryness and the beautiful cloudy effect when mixed with tonic and ice. Our goal is to convey the essence of our brand and our commitment to creating a truly English gin bursting with flavor,” said Szor.
The fully integrated campaign encompasses digital marketing, point of sale promotions, PR activities, and social media engagement.
Cotswolds Dry Gin, boasting an ABV of 46%, is available for £37 (US$44).
Last November, Cotswolds Distillery partnered with Highgrove to produce a limited edition whisky commemorating King Charles III’s 75th birthday.
